Our Mission

Friends of Warwick Lighthouse is a non-profit organization committed to the restoration, preservation, and maintenance of the Warwick Lighthouse in Rhode Island. Our goal is to protect this historic landmark and ensure its legacy for years to come. Through fundraising efforts and community support, we aim to maintain the lighthouse and its grounds, while also organizing limited public events to share its rich history with visitors.

About Us

We are a newly formed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in the State of Rhode Island and are in the process of applying to acquire the Warwick Neck Lighthouse.

The General Services Administration (GSA) of the Federal Government is conducting a competitive selection process involving the submittal of a detailed application covering the following four areas:

Preservation & Maintenance Plan
Use Plan
Financial Plan
Management Plan

And let's not forget

Fundraising

We are actively seeking donations which will be held in escrow until the selection process is completed.

Once we are successful in acquiring the lighthouse, funds raised will be transferred to us and used to fulfill the mission of our organization.

If we do not obtain ownership of the lighthouse, funds can either be transferred to the charity of your choice or returned.

No funds are used to benefit any of the organization's members. We are all volunteers.
